CRYSTAL PALACE FANS vandalised one of their team’s buses over the weekend, mistakenly believing that it belonged to their Premier League opponents Middlesbrough.
Those responsible spray-painted the words ‘Crystal Palace FC’ on the side of the bus just hours ahead of a fixture between the relegation rivals at Selhurst Park.
It’s believed that the vandals may have become confused by the fact that the bus was parked outside a London hotel which is normally used by away teams who are playing Crystal Palace.

Palace assistant head groundsman Dean Waters initially published a tweet about the incident before changing the privacy settings on his account.
He wrote: “£40,000 worth of damage on our coach thinking it was the Boro coach. Nice one! #cpfc.”
A spokesman for Palace told The Sun that the damage had been reported to the police.
